Rotarians’ annual garage sale returns

Offload those leather pants you haven’t worn since high school, along with the wooden Star Wars figurines your spouse hand-carved as a child.

The Harbourside Rotary Club is gearing up for its annual garage sale and is looking for donations of clothes, household items, small appliances, books, knicknacks and furniture.

Drop your old goodies off at University Canada West, 950 Kings Rd., between 9 a.m. and 5:30 p.m. on April 15.

Then return to the university site on April 16, 9 a.m.-1 p.m. to pick up someone else’s discarded treasures – and steer your spouse away from the table that’s selling his prized carvings.

All proceeds go back to the Rotary to fund programs that help families and youth.

For more information, please call 250-885-0558.
