Esquimalt residents can free up some space in their garages with the upcoming community recycling depot. Recycle household items not permitted in the curbside blue boxes, such as soft and hard plastics, styrofoam, milk and drink cartons and electronics.
The depot is held every second Saturday, except in June. It next happens May 14 from 9 a.m. to noon in the rear parking lot of the Archie Browning Sports Centre, 1151 Esquimalt Rd. Drop-off fees apply. For info, visit Pacific Mobile Depot at www.pacificmobiledepots.com.
