Victoria Goddess Run pop-up event preparing racers for the big day

Still time to register for popular June fundraiser run in Langford

Are you looking for more opportunities to unleash your inner goddess?

Organizers of the Victoria Goddess Run are hosting a pop-up event on Wednesday (May 3) from 5 until 7:30 p.m.

Taking place at Frontrunners Victoria, 1200 Vancouver St., this event will feature a little nutrition, race recovery and retail therapy for all. Muscle Milk and Epicure will offer up edibles, while Absolute Therapy offers some tips to prepare for race day. DeeBee’s Organics will also have their teapops as a tasty treat for all that attend.

As the sixth annual run approaches, more than 2,500 women are expected to partake and raise funds for the B.C. Cancer Foundation. This year’s events take place on June 4 in Langford – and new this year – on June 11 in Port Coquitlam. To register, go to goddessrun.ca.
