Victoria Women’s Spring Expo this weekend

The event has more than 100 exhibitors displaying and selling everything from jewellery, make-up, fashion and home products

The Victoria Women’s Spring Expo will take place at the Pearkes Recreation Centre this weekend.

Special guest speakers include Jody Claman from Real Housewives of Vancouver and Brad King, author and nutritional expert. Claman, the self-made millionaire, got her start with her own catering company she started with only an $800 investment.

“What Jody is saying is you can do it too, live the life you dream,” said Virginia Ritchie, producer of the Victoria Women’s spring expo.

The event has more than 100 exhibitors displaying and selling everything from jewellery, make-up, fashion and home products.

“She [visitor] will be entertained and laugh and try samples. It’s a great time, a great weekend,” said Ritchie.

The first 100 people each day will receive a special gift bag.

The expo will run from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on March 7 and 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. on March 8.
