Coco Montoya comes to Harpo’s at the Upstairs Cabaret April 19.
The singer/guitar player is a former member of blues legend John Mayall’s Bluesbreakers as well as the Albert Collins band. He launched his solo career in 1993 and appeared at last year’s Vancouver Island Blues Bash. He has six solo albums to his credit, including 2007’s Dirty Deal.
Doors open at 7 p.m. for the 8 p.m. show at the Bastion Square club. Tickets are $26 in advance, available at the McPherson box office or by calling 250-388-4423.
