A posse of Colombian ska artists are coming to Victoria for a concert.
Skampida, based out of Bogota, play Upstairs Cabaret, 1127 Wharf St. on Thursday, May 12. The Victoria Ska Society helped secure a local date for the group as part of Skampida’s Colombia to Canada Project, following a successful showing by the band at the South by Southwest festival this spring.
They’ll play alongside Hillside Hooligans and Rebel Selector. Tickets, $12, are available at Lyle’s Place, Ditch Records, The Reef and ticketweb.ca. Doors open at 9 p.m.
