Retiring flute professor Lanny Pollet gets to play a swan song with 20 of Victoria’s finest musicians.
Pollet has taught at the University of Victoria for 40 years. As part of UVic’s school of music chamber music series, he will perform with faculty members as well as Lafayette String Quartet musicians and UVic music director, Gerry King.
The concert takes place Saturday (March 5) at 8 p.m. in the Phillip T. Young recital hall on campus. Tickets, $13.50 and $17.50 are available at the door, at the UVic ticket office, or by phone at 250-721-8480.
