Esquimalt High students and local musicians are hosting a Night of Music on March 14 to raise money to help create healthier oceans.

ESCAPE – Esquimalt Students Caring About Peace and the Environment – are using the event to shine a spotlight on local talent, and environmental issues. The Mount Douglas String Quartet, the Raging Grannies and Esquimalt High students will perform to raise funds for the Ocean Conservancy organization.

In previous events, ESCAPE raised money for women in Zambia and participated in Amnesty International’s Write for Rights campaign.

Admission to the performance is $5 and doors open at 7 p.m. at the Esquimalt High Theatre, 847 Colville Rd.
