Take a backstage look at the opera

Pacific Opera Victoria is hosting a free talk June 6 in advance of its next production, Mary’s Wedding.

The 7 p.m. discussion at McPherson Playhouse will include composer, librettist and director Michael Shamata; designer Ian Rye and artistic director Timothy Vernon, and excerpts from the opera will be performed.
