After touring Western Canada for eight months, 52 textile artworks are landing in Victoria in advance of their being auctioned off for charity.Turning the Tide, One Ripple at a Time, runs Saturday (Feb. 26) through March 10 at the Martin Batchelor Gallery, 712 Cormorant St. An opening day exhibit happens from 2 to 5 p.m. Saturday.Admission is free.The pieces, based around the theme of Turning the Tide of the HIV/AIDS pandemic in Africa, will be sold at auction during a gala fundraiser March 12 for the Stephen Lewis Foundation.
