Thugs in the club

Grammy award-winning group plays Victoria club

Bone Thugs-n-Harmony featuring Krayzie Bone and Wish Bone hits Club 9ONE9, 919 Douglas St., Jan. 25 at 9 p.m.

Bone Thugs-n-Harmony have sold more than 15 million records.

They recorded with The Notorious B.I.G. and 2Pac. The group won a Grammy for Best Rap Performance by a Duo or Group in 1997 for Tha Crossroads and an American Music Award for Favourite Rap/Hip-Hop Band, Duo or Group in 2007.

The Cleveland, Ohio quartet is one of the most important groups in hip-hop history; breaking down doors for other midwestern rappers; launching its successful Mo Thugs record company and introducing mind-splitting, rapid-fire rapping and angelic harmonies with melodic production to the genre.

In more recent years the group has recorded with Mariah Carey, The Game, will.i.am, Akon, Twista, Bow Wow, Yolanda Adams, and Felecia.
