The Victoria Writers’ Society is offering prizes up to $100 for impressive submissions.
Its Annual Writing Competition accepts submissions until May 1 and winning writers can collect $100, $75 or $50.
Submissions can come from residents of Vancouver Island and the Gulf Islands. The entry fee is $10 for society members or $20 for non-members. For more information, e-mail victoriawriterssociety@gmail.com.
