Late-night traffic collision on Cook Street prompts call for witnesses

A motorcyclist is in hospital with serious, non-life threatening injuries

The collision occurred in the 3000-block of Cook St., just before 10:30 p.m. on Monday, Sept. 30.

VicPD are looking for witnesses after a late-night motorcycle collision.

On Monday, Sept. 30, just before 10:30 p.m., VicPD patrol officers rushed to the 3000-block of Cook St., after receiving a report of a collision involving a motorcyclist. VicPD believe the motorcyclist was travelling northbound on Cook Street when the collision occurred.

Paramedics took the motorcyclist to the hospital, where he remains with serious, non-life threatening injuries.

Cook Street, between Cedar Hill Road and Finlayson Street, was closed for several hours while collision analysts investigated the scene. 

VicPD has asked witnesses and people with information about or dashcam footage of the incident to contact the E-Comm Report Desk at 250-995-7654, extension 1.
