Downtown road users should brace themselves for increased traffic in the coming weeks.
A first road closure will affect Douglas Street from Humboldt to Belleville Street, starting Nov. 4. Work on underground services is expected to last about two weeks, a city spokesperson told the Victoria News.
A second road closure will affect a portion of Broughton Street from early morning on Nov. 4 to late night on Nov. 5. A film crew will be shooting scenes for the movie Casket Girls at the Downtown YMCA-YWCA (851 Broughton St.), blocking the 800 block.
