Victoria police put a call out for information, dash cam, or doorbell footage to aid the investigation after woman was hit while crossing the road at an intersection early Wednesday (Nov. 29).
A 62-year-old woman hit by a driver in the crosswalk at the intersection of Foul Bay Road and Fairfield Road around 12:25 a.m., VicPD said in a news release.
Police said the driver was reported to be travelling at a high rate of speed and failed to stop at the stop sign before hitting the pedestrian.

The vehicle is described as a white sports car that may have damage to the front passenger side from making contact with the pedestrian. The driver did not stop and was last seen travelling southbound on Foul Bay Road towards Gonzales Beach.
The woman was taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
