An all-candidates meeting will be held at the Cook Street Village Activity Centre (380 Cook St.) Thursday from 7 to 9 p.m.

With 14 days left until Canadians head to the polls, Victoria candidates are gathering for an all-candidates meeting on Thursday, April 17.

The event will take place at the Cook Street Village Activity Centre (380 Cook St.) from 7 to 9 p.m.

Laurel Collins (NDP), Michael Doherty (Green), Will Greaves (Liberal), David Mohr (PPC) and Steven Filipovic (independent) have confirmed they will attend.

Jenny Zee Majzoub, Cook Street Village Activity Centre Society’s executive director, said she is confident Conservative candidate Angus Ross will participate in the meeting, though he hasn't confirmed his attendance.

At the time of publication, Majzoub had yet to reach out to Rhinoceros Party candidate Cody Fraser.

“This community-led event will feature confirmed federal candidates from our riding, addressing key public questions and engaging in moderated discussion on important local and national issues,” Majzoub said in a news release. “We’re expecting significant community interest and attendance.”
