Michael Audain and his Audain Foundation donated $750,000 to Victoria’s Royal BC Museum which allowed them to buy the Bill Reid artwork Grizzly Bear Mantelpiece. The sculpture was created by the late First Nations artist Bill Reid in 1954 and will be displayed in the museums’ First Peoples gallery.
