B.C. Transit hosts open house

B.C. Transit will be hosting an open house to answer questions about terminal options for a proposed transit hub on Douglas Street.

B.C. Transit will be hosting an open house on Jan. 27 to answer questions about terminal options for a proposed transit hub in the lower Douglas Street area.

The long-term plan for transit in the capital region identifies the need for a downtown terminus in the lower Douglas Street area of Victoria. Transit terminals are being considered on Humboldt between Douglas and Blanshard, and along Government Street by the Legislature and Royal B.C. Museum.

The open house runs from 2 p.m. to 7 p.m. in the Victoria Conference Centre.
