Southern Vancouver Island salmon enhancement volunteer organizations are being invited to apply for project funding from the Pacific Western Brewing Community Foundation.
The foundation has established a $20,000 fund to support grassroots salmon enhancement initiatives in B.C.
Applications should support the protection, conservation, enhancement or rehabilitation of Pacific salmon and their habitat. Projects can range from community-based stream keeping and habitat rehabilitation to the enhancement of salmon stocks.
