A new byzantine archives library in Saanich turned out to be far from complicated as council gave its approval Monday to an expansion at the Greek Community Centre.
The new library will also include more office and storage space, as well as a new kitchen and bar area.
Coun. Vic Derman called the proposal, which puts much of the expansion underground, "an imaginative approach … that gets rid of a dated asphalt driveway."
