Cinderella dances on to Ballet Victoria stage

The Ballet Victoria troupe presents a dance extravaganza with Cinderella at the Royal Theatre.

Ballet Victoria presents their dance version of the classic children’s fairytale Cinderella with two performances at the Royal Theatre this weekend.

The troupe will perform tonight (May 20) at 7:00pm and tomorrow, Saturday (May 21) at a matinee performance at 2:00pm.

The Cinderella ballet was composed by Russian Sergei Prokofiev to a scenario by Nikolai Volkov.

The fairytale itself is ancient with the first European version published in 1634.
