Lanes at the intersection of Blanshard Street and Pandora Avenue will be closed next week as construction continues on the city’s first protected bike lane.
Earlier this week, crews closed lanes at the intersection of Pandora Avenue and Douglas Street to dig trenches and install underground utilities. That work will continue Jan. 16 to 20 at Blanshard and Pandora.
Expected to be complete and open to the public in the spring, the bike lanes will include a two-way, physically protected bike lane with new traffic signals, among other things.
