A self-professed street artist was arrested by Victoria police Wednesday for spray painting the side of a building.
Someone phoned police at 2:45 a.m. to report the incident, in the 1000-block of Wharf St. Officers arrested a woman, age 54, who admitted to painting the building and said she was a street artist.
She could be charged with mischief, and was released from police custody on a promise to appear in court on Aug. 10.
