Crews were clearing out tents, mattresses, clothing and other materials as they dismantle Tent City in Victoria.

Two large dumpsters along Quadra Street were being filled with discarded tents, mattresses and other materials as work crews kept busy clearing out the site of Victoria’s homeless camp Tent City this afternoon.

Plastic bins lined the sidewalk along Burdett Avenue, some filled with former residents’ goods while other were empty waiting to used as the clean up progressed.
