A cyclist was hit by a vehicle at the corner of Bay Street and Rock Bay Avenue at about 10:30 Friday morning.

The collision left the cyclist badly shaken, said Sgt. Grant Hamilton, a VicPD spokesperson.

At the scene, several dump trucks lined the south side of the street, causing traffic to slow almost to a stand still. Hamilton could not confirm whether one of the trucks were involved.

Two police cruisers and an ambulance attended.
