Victoria firefighters perform high angle rope rescue training exercises off the side of the CIBC building fronting View Street. Firefighters rappelled from the rooftop, performing a high angle “window washer” rescue from the 13-storey highrise. Both Victoria and Saanich firefighters participate in the Joint High Angle Rescue Team which serves the Capital Region.
