Drug dealer caught with stash and cash in Victoria

Previously arrested woman facing more charges after police sting

Victoria police nabbed a known drug dealer with four pounds of marijuana, one pound of magic mushrooms and $14,000 in cash on Thursday morning.

The arrest occurred at the intersection of Douglas and Bay streets after the woman sold an ounce of marijuana to an undercover officer.

The Integrated Road Safety Unit arrested the woman last December and again in May with drugs and cash at roadblocks. Those cases are still before the courts.

The 24-year-old Victoria woman is facing three charges of trafficking a controlled substance and two charges of possession for the purpose of trafficking.
