The Victoria Fire Department is investigating the cause of a vehicle fire that caused approximately $70,000 damage early Monday morning.
Around 2:22 a.m., crews were called to 640 Dallas Road following reports of a structure and vehicle fire at the back of an apartment building.
When crews arrived at the scene, they found a vehicle engulfed in flames. The fire had also spread to the ceiling and back of the carport where the vehicle was parked.
The blaze destroyed the vehicle and caused significant heat damage to two other vehicles on both sides.
The cause has yet to be determined as the investigation continues.
