Floating lunch stop launches on Victoria's harbour

Floating eatery set up on catamaran near Ship Point

A new boat docked near the Harbour Air seaplane terminal is serving lunch.

This latest addition to the Inner Harbour marks the only floating lunch spot in Victoria. The 45-foot catamaran Pride of Victoria is from Salt Spring Island and serves smokehouse food. Its landlord, the Greater Victoria Harbour Authority, announced the new business on Friday.

“We’re very pleased to be able to offer moorage to this unique floating eatery,” said harbour authority CEO Curtis Grad. “The Pride of Victoria is a welcome addition to the dynamic activity at Ship Point.”
