Lake Hill elementary school students give out free cookies

Lake Hill elementary school’s Grade 5 leadership students handed out free cookies to shoppers at the Saanich Centre during the lunch hour on Pink Shirt Day (Feb. 28) as part of their first ever Kindness Campaign.

Students spent 90 minutes offering cookies and spreading the message of being kind to one another.
