A call about graffiti at the Vic West skate park turned up a replica handgun and a knife instead.
Police officers were called to the area Sunday at 7:30 p.m., for reports of two women spray-painting the basketball hoop.
Police found the two nearby and seized a Desert Eagle-style pellet gun that was modified to look like a real gun. It was tucked inside the waistband of one woman. A 10-centimetre knife and markers used for tagging were also seized.
