Harbour Air investigates flight difficulty

Passengers and crew safe after flight forced to land

Passengers and crew of a Harbour Air flight from Vancouver to Victoria were unharmed after the aircraft experienced engine trouble and was forced to land in Ganges Harbour.

At approximately 1 p.m. today (Dec. 29), Harbour Air Seaplanes flight #215, a De Havilland Turbine Otter en route from Vancouver Harbour to Victoria Harbour experienced engine difficulty requiring the pilot to make an unscheduled stop.

The passengers and crew were transported from Ganges to Victoria via another Harbour Air plane.

Harbour Air is investigating the cause of the engine difficulty.
