Human remains found near Campbell River

Human remains were found in a rural area outside Campbell River, RCMP say.

The remains are unidentified at this time but an Investigation is underway to determine the identity of the person and the circumstances surrounding their death.

“More details surrounding the investigation will be released once the identity of the human remains has been determined,” said Cpl. Ron Vlooswyk of the Campbell River RCMP. “No further information can be provided at this time.”
