Hundreds attend Elk Lake polar bear swim

The 36th annual swim held on New Year's Day is the largest such event in Greater Victoria.

Participants make a quick exit after running into the frigid water at Elk Lake for the 36th annual Polar Bear Swim. Hundreds, many who are repeat dippers joined the fun receiving a ribbon after completing the dip and many going home to warm up.
