A large, multi-agency drug bust was executed Thursday at two Greater Victoria homes, uncovering five firearms and a quantity of cocaine.

Following a four-month investigation, two search warrants were simultaneously executed at a Saanich home, in the 4000-block of Kincaid St., and a Victoria home, in the 700-block of Fisgard Ave. Thursday evening.

Three men were arrested during a targeted vehicle stop at Quadra Street and Tolmie Avenue.

Found inside the homes were five firearms, including two fully automatic weapons equipped with silencers, and several small bags of cocaine

The investigation was conducted by members from Saanich police, Victoria police, Sidney RCMP and the Combined Forces Special Enforcement Unit.

Two Saanich men, 29 and 31 years old, and a 24-year-old Victoria man remain in custody.
