Commuters who often get stuck in the Colwood Crawl along the Trans-Canada Highway can soon check out how badly the route is backed-up before they even get behind the wheel.
The Ministry of Transportation and Infrastructure will install a webcam at the notoriously congested intersection of McKenzie Avenue/Admirals Road and Highway 1.
The webcam will go live at drivebc.ca later this year.
It will be the first real-time traffic cam in Greater Victoria.
