M&M Meats Shops hosts charity barbecue

Spend Saturday eating a little to raise a lot of money to help find a cure for Crohn’s disease and ulcerative colitis.

Join M&M Meat Shops and Crohn’s and Colitis Canada in a community barbecue from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday (May 10).

M&M Meat Shops franchisees, staff and thousands of volunteers from coast-to-coast will man the grills to meet the Charity BBQ Day fundraising goal of $1 million.

Supporters receive a hamburger or hot dog, a drink and a bag of chips for a minimum donation of $3. Proceeds raised help fund Crohn’s disease and ulcerative colitis medical research.

Over the past 25 years, M&M Meat Shops has raised more than $24 million for medical research dedicated to finding a cure for Crohn’s and colitis.
