Eighty-two units of affordable rental housing are coming to Victoria.
As part of a partnership between the province, the Capital Regional District and Island Health, the Victoria Cool Aid Society will receive $5 million in capital funding towards the redevelopment of an existing housing development at Cedar Grove (210 Gorge Rd. East).
The project will replace the 21-unit motel with 82 units of affordable rental housing, including 32 units for individuals experiencing chronic homelessness.
