Jenn Marus helps set up the new Kids and Company location in Langford. The new daycare centre

New flexible daycare opens in Langford

Kids and Company's grand opening is Tuesday, Oct. 15 at 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at 965 Langford Parkway.

Working around a parent’s crazy schedule is what a new daycare facility vows to do.

Kids and Company on Langford Parkway is more than a standard daycare centre, it also offers flexible hours and days for parents whose jobs require shift work and as an emergency daycare backup.

For back up daycare parents can register online and purchase a 15-day package to be used throughout the year or pay for days individually when needed.

“We have guaranteed childcare and we will hold spaces for you,” said Victoria Sopik, founder of Kids and Company.

The Langford site has space for more than 70 children in its nearly 8,000 square-foot facility.

This is the second Kids and Company location in Greater Victoria, the first was opened in Uptown in Saanich.

Kids and Company has 50 locations across Canada and is currently building 20 more facilities.

The grand opening is Tuesday, Oct. 15 at 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at 965 Langford Parkway.
