Say goodbye to two retro signs that welcomed people to Esquimalt on Craigflower Road, and hello to their replacements.
Several residents have complained in recent months about the outdated signs, one of which is almost entirely hidden from view.
Township council said yes Monday night to upgrading and relocating the signs for $35,000. The project will likely be completed by the end of the year.
The cost won’t impact the 2012 budget, since the money is coming out of the township’s accumulated surplus account.
