A man who reportedly wasn't wearing pants is seen attempting to enter the residence of a woman in the 1700-block of Fort St. on Wednesday evening. Victoria police are hoping the public can help identify the man.

A man without pants who stood on the balconies of two women Wednesday night is being sought by Victoria police.

The first disturbing incident took place around 6:15 p.m. in the 1700-block of Fort St. A woman called 911 to report a pants-less man on her ground-floor apartment patio. The man attempted to open the woman's patio door before running away.

Around 6:30 p.m., another woman called 911 with a similar story – a pants-less man standing on her third-floor balcony in the 1600-block of Begbie St.

Police were unable to locate the man using a K9 unit, but the first woman took several photographs of the suspect with her iPad while on the phone to police, said Bowen Osoko, VicPD spokesperson.

The suspect is described as Caucasian, 5-foot-10 and about 190 pounds. He is believed to be between 35 to 45 years old and has short dark brown hair, a goatee and a heavy build.

The partially clothed man was wearing a patterned shirt and black boots at the time of the incidents, according to witnesses.

Anyone who recognizes the man or has more information is asked to call VicPD on the non-emergency line at 250-995-7654, report anonymously through Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477) or call the VicPD Detective Tip Line at 250-995-7444.
