Collision leaves man with life-threatening injuries

A pedestrian is in hospital with life-threatening injuries following a collision with a B.C. Transit bus Monday evening.

Police were called to the scene at Dunedin Street and Gorge Road East around 5:45 p.m. There, they discovered that the bus had swerved to avoid hitting the  man, but he was still struck by the back end.

The man was taken to hospital and the driver is being cooperative with police as the investigation continues.
