Police investigating after woman found dead in Saanich home

Oak Bay Police recovered a man in the waters off Cattle Point

Police are investigating after a husband and wife were found dead in separate municipalities Tuesday.

Shortly after 2:30 p.m. yesterday (April 29), Saanich Police responded to a residence in the 1800 block of Newton Street where they found a woman dead in the home.

About an hour later Oak Bay police discovered the body of a man in the waters off of Cattle Point.

They later confirmed the pair were husband and wife who lived together in the Saanich residence.

Police have not released any names or ages. The Vancouver Island Integrated Major Crime Unit and the  Saanich Police Detective Division are investigating the two sudden deaths.
