Police searching for missing Aboriginal man

Bernard Edward’s car had been parked in the 700 block of Broughton Street for several days

Victoria police are asking for the public’s help in locating 53-year-old Bernard Edward.

Edward is described as an Aboriginal man, five-feet, one-inches tall, with a medium build, and about 141 pounds. He has shorter dark brown and grey hair, and brown eyes. He also wears distinctive frameless glasses.

Edward’s vehicle was parked in the 700 block of Broughton Street Wednesday morning, but parking tickets indicate the car had been there for two days.

Anyone who sees Edward is asked to call the Victoria police’s non-emergency line at 250-995-7654.
