Halloween parties and celebrations are to blame for a 35 per cent rise in calls last weekend.

Halloween parties and celebrations are to blame for a 35 per cent rise in calls last weekend. “Most of the calls were liquor related,” said Cpl. Kathy Rochlitz, RCMP spokesperson. Calls included noise complaints, fights and mischief. Police presence in the community will be enhanced on Oct. 31.
