Lone man reported masturbating along Westsong Walkway.

A 27-year-old registered sex offender was arrested by Victoria police Sunday afternoon after a report of a lone man masturbating along the Westsong Walkway.

The police were called after the suspect approached a female jogger on the popular footpath that connects Vic West and Esquimalt. Several police officers arrived immediately, began searching the walkway and located a man matching the description provided by a witness.
