The 25th annual Michael Dunahee Slo-Pitch Tournament of Hope is gearing up for the weekend of August 6 and 7 in Victoria’s Topaz Park.

Everyone is invited to watch at approximately 4 p.m. on Sunday afternoon as sky divers descend with the final game ball and pick the grand prize donated this year by Pacific Coastal Airlines.

The tournament is the biggest fundraiser of the summer for Child Find B.C. Last year, nearly $14,000 was raised that goes towards services provided by Child Find B.C.

In 2014, more than 41,000 cases of missing children were reported in Canada.
