Sooke Road grow-op house deemed unliveable

On April 10 West Shore RCMP Street crime unit executed a warrant searching for a marijuana grow-op in a home on the 2800 block of Sooke Road.

Inside the home 180 marijuana plants, one pound of dried cannabis, scales and other paraphernalia and two ounces of cocaine were found in the home.

"One hundred and eighty plants is a significant sized grow-op," said acting Sgt. Kathy Rochlitz, West Shore RCMP.

RCMP are considering charging the two male residents of the home with the production of marijuana and trafficking

Langford bylaw deemed the home unfit for habitation through the controlled substance bylaw.
