Henrik Sedin tips in Vancouver's 5-1 goal against the Columbus Blue Jackets on Friday night

Henrik Sedin and the Vancouver Canucks finally blew the roof of Rogers Arena (well, sort of) against the Columbus Blue Jackets on Friday night. Their six-goal effort matched the total output they had from their previous five games combined, as they rode a three-goal second period to a 6-2 rout of Ohio's finest.

Captain Henrik had two goals for Vancouver while brother Daniel had a goal and two assists. Jeremy Welsh added the final goal of the game, his first-ever NHL tally.

The Canucks entered Friday's contest on a five-game losing streak, with a couple OT losses tossed in.

"We keep saying it's about the process but in the end it's about scoring," said Daniel after the game. "We know that, especially when there have been games we are losing 2-1, it's tight, or we are going into overtime or losing in a shootout. One goal can mean so much for this team right now and that's why it's been frustrating."

The Canucks now turn their attention to the Chicago Blackhawks. Vancouver hosts the defending Stanley Cup champions tonight on Hockey Night in Canada.

But, before that happens, we fans can savour this rare feast of offensive for at least one afternoon:
