A 13-year-old boy was sent to B.C. Children’s Hospital in Vancouver Tuesday after being hit by a car while jaywalking across the street near the intersection of Quadra Street and Inverness Road earlier in the afternoon.
He was initially taken to hospital in critical, but stable condition. He was transported to Vancouver later in the evening, where his condition was improving.
The driver of the vehicle was co-operative with Saanich police. No charges or fines are being considered.
